NWHEAP serves homeowners within a defined section of Chicago's Northwest Side.
The Illinois Home Equity Assurance Act defines NWHEAP's geographic service area. Only properties inside the boundaries are eligible for program benefits.
Approximate boundaries
- North: Devon Avenue / Bryn Mawr area
- South: Diversey / Armitage area
- East: Pulaski Road area
- West: Harlem Avenue / city limits
